Key to the Perfect Golf Swing written by: Mwalimu89 Watching professional golfers play can be very mesmerizing. The way they swing the club and make the perfect hit is just awesome, they make you feel like you can easily do it. You only realize it is not as easy as it seemed when you hold the club but with these steps on how to complete the perfect golf swing, you will be playing like the pros.
The first step is getting the grip right. How you hold the club will have effect on how you swing. With the club touching the ground, and behind the ball hold it in your left hand such that its shaft lies of the forefinger. Fit it under your palm's heel for stability when swinging then let the little finger around the grip to hold the club tightly. The thumb should be lying on top of the shaft in a way that you can see 2 knuckles of your hand.
After getting the correct left hand grip, the second step is the right hand grip. The right hand is folded over the left thump. The right hand thumb when holding the club correctly, should be pointing at your right hand shoulder. The grip should be natural and not too tight or loose. You can either overlap or interlock your fingers as a final step in to get the correct grip.
Once you are done with the grip you should set yourself up for the ball. Keep you feet together and then raise the club up in front of you. The arms should be extended to a height level to your waist. Bend forward, set the club on the ground and shoulder-width set your feet apart. Let your body weight be equally distributed to get the right posture.
In the right posture a triangle is formed between your hands and shoulders. This triangles is to be maintained as you back swing. To execute the back swing correctly you move the club and your hands, the shoulders and arms at the same time. At the point where the left arm is parallel to the ground, the left hand should be tilted to form an L-shape with the club shaft, you will notice the club's butt points the target.
The perfect golf swing will need perfect downswing. Return the body weight to the right hip from the left one with a bump forcing the arms and club to move down through the delivery position to hit the ball directly towards the target. The club moves to the left side and and hands above the left shoulder. Your right heel will be up after you have executed the perfect swing.
